Excerpts from my stories

“Oh, sure enough, they were.  But if you’ve got a time for a good cry, a moment for a heavy sigh, or a few seconds for a kiss from someone that loves you – no times are too hard.”

Mildred, “Glasses”

The thing about Concord Park is that it’s the greenest place I’ve ever seen.  Even after traveling across four states for college.  The green is ever-changing, from bright to deep, and when the leaves change color in the fall, well the world has never seen so many colors.  Some even go to a deep purple.  They crinkle under foot along the paths and the light plays through the newly open places in the branches.  Even if you’ve been hiking a thousand times, I think I can safely say you’ve never seen a place like Concord (Peace) Park.
